ASANA
Focus on feeling the spine lengthen, instead getting your heels down. Understand what 'wrap your shoulders around' actually feels like, and read the story of the dog from the B...
I have to admit it took me ages to 'get' this asana. I'd feel like I was waiting and wondering why I was just.. standing there. I hope these pages will help if this is you too!

Bharmanāsana भरमनासन
I love pairing this with box breathing, and feeling the 4 sides of the shape with the breath. It's brilliant for body awareness, and great arm prep for downward dog.

Nāvāsana नावासन
This pic actually shows 'half' boat pose - the full version has straight, legs lifted diagnoally upwards. Make it easier by reaching hands forward or holding the back of your knees.

Marjaryāsana मर्जर्यासन
Pair this movement with a strong exhale and push the floor away as you do. Think of how a cat arches it's spine, and imagine you can feel the space between your vertebrae.

Bhujangāsana भुजङ्गासन
